Tight Alley Access for Kitchen Demo
A homeowner in Richland Park was gutting a kitchen during one of those long stretches where the thermometer stays above 90 degrees. The narrow alley access behind these homes makes placement tricky, especially when neighbors have cars parked tight against the fence line. They had a contractor lined up for Monday morning, and if that bin wasn't sitting square on the pad by Sunday night, the whole demolition schedule would slide, costing them labor hours before they even started.
I drove the truck out myself to check the clearance. Instead of risking the fence with a standard roll-off, we brought in a smaller hook-lift truck that could maneuver that tight turn off the main street. We dropped a 15-yarder right on the driveway protection boards without scratching a single paver. The crew started demo at 7 AM sharp, filling the bin with cabinets and drywall before the heat of the day really set in.
Mateo spotted the tight squeeze immediately and brought the right truck so we didn't block the alley.
